The Annexe

The Annexe is tucked away off a private drive within an easy walk of the popular town of Bowness-on-Windermere. Accessed from the front, step into the porch with plenty of storage and through to the brand new open plan kitchen and living room.

The property has been recently renovated and consists of a well equipped kitchen with everything you might need during your stay. There’s also a washing machine, as well as a dishwasher. One comfy double bedroom with a built in wardrobe and a dressing table makes this flat perfect for two people wishing to explore Bowness-on-Windermere. In the bathroom relax under the modern rainfall shower. The whole house has an underfloor heating throughout which makes it super warm and cosy on the colder days. Wi-Fi and Netflix are also included.

Guest access

Exclusive access to the whole property. You will access the cottage by self check in via a key safe.

The main bus stop is located short walk away and the nearest train station is in Windermere.

Free parking space is directly outside the property. You’re welcome to use the parking space from 1pm.

Where you'll be

Located in the centre of the Lake District in the popular village of Bowness on Windermere, very near to the lake, restaurants, bars and boating centre. The apartment is set in a quiet residential area 2 minutes walk from the centre.

Bowness has a lively café culture and fabulous, independent small shops. Stroll along the lake side or take a scenic boat trip to Waterhead, Ambleside or to Lakeside.

Buses are available in Bowness to all areas of the Lake District. There is a train station in Windermere, 5 minutes drive away for trains to all parts of the country. Taxis are readily available. Guests can also enjoy leisure boat trips along Windermere Lake or hire a motor or rowing boat. Set within the heart of the National Park and now a UNESCO World Heritage Site, ever popular Bowness has good access to local road networks and junction 36 can be reached within 20 minutes whilst the rail links from Windermere filtering to the main line at Oxenholme provide speedy access to Edinburgh, Manchester and to London Euston in less than 3 hours.
