Where you'll be
14 Church Street is positioned in a fantastic location, just next to the train and bus stations in the centre of Windermere village. The neighbourhood is bustling and atmospheric but the apartment is located on a residential street that is much quieter, especially at night. Even though the bars and restaurants are 2 minutes walk away there is very little noise as they are all located around the corner and further down the adjacent street. The apartment is located on a road so there can be a small amount of traffic during the daytime.
Just on the other side of the road lies Orrest Head, one of the most iconic views in the Lake District just a short walk away. A romantic place to watch the sunset or lovely for a picnic during the day, it is well worth a visit.
Lake Windermere and the picturesque village of Bowness lies just further down the hill, around a 20 minute walk or a 5 minute bus or taxi ride.
